52% of you voted for a server Dofus Kamas
A few weeks before, we asked for cheap Dofus Kamas your opinions in a questionnaire. Here are the results. As you understand, enormous exploitation of a flaw by a high number of cheaters last year led us to take some extreme steps on the epic server. Since performing a significant rollback and correcting the flaw weren't enough to eliminate the effects of the cheating, we considered a number of scenarios, none of which appeared inclined to completely satisfy the community.
That's why we chose to run a survey offering you two options, each Resetting the server, which would allow us to restart from a fresh slate but also take players away' history, characters and purchases. Developing a new server with no change to how the game functions, which would allow for a dash under conditions that are identical.
To start with, we want you to know that the reason it took us a while to get back to you with this is because we needed to do a great deal of work to sort through and confirm your answers (besides the rest of the tasks to be done). For example, we could tell you that the cheaters attempted to bias the results too... and a number of them put in quite a bit of effort.
Obviouslywe were ready for this kind of behaviour, and we had setup options to analyze survey answers after the fact and remove the cheaters' responses. These actions forced us to take time to run a comprehensive analysis of this data and guarantee a clean result.
52% of you voted for a server. This server will be named Thanatena and we'll keep you informed about its launching whenever possible. There'll be no choice to move characters between this brand new server and Oto Mustam as previously announced. Nor will we be able to combine this specific particular server. To all of you who are prepared to take on the DOFUS challenge, have fun and revel in the game!
Don't even know why they bother using account servers, cheaters can certainly multilog on them, prism strikes and most perc are made by cheating teams. If anything is simple, they ask for it when money is involved and it's ID, restarting a server, due to buy Kamas Dofus Retro cheats, maybe begin asking IP hoppers for photo ID each account.
Most OSRS has gamers haven't returned to EoC
Completely false. 7 complete years following EoC and buy RS gold are published, and many people, including extremely famous EoC pvmers such as Evil Lucario, will inform you there's massive flaws in EoC. The vast majority of RS3 players still utilize Revolution according to Jagex. Most OSRS has gamers haven't returned to EoC, many nevertheless express a dislike for this. Meanwhile, RS3 is at record low players, whilst OSRS still has on average 3 times as many players.
It's time to accept the fact that Eoc was a failure. We had been advised that Eoc would revolutionise combat and lead to a massive burst in popularity as gamers from different games with modern battle would come play RS3 (it didn't occur at all), and preexisting players could enjoy it (it didn't happen at all either, we dropped 80% of our participant base). RS3 pvmers are fortunate to have a few hundred at peak times, mostly. Regardless of the fact that RS3 has a more sophisticated combat system and better graphics.
The simple fact that players in EoC nevertheless use Revolution instead of full manual can also be a statistic shared with several J Mods on multiple streams.
Individuals left because it was confusing and not entirely developed, EOC released. EOC is much much better than it was on release. PvP in the sense also hurts that fights are briefer. From speaking with OSRS players visiting RS3 for its bossing, they generally like EOC as it raises battle complexity (if performing revo or manual) while also having an easy alternative now (revo++). Ability bars are figured out making it less confusing as you can look up a good bar.
You're speaking to players who play a version of RuneScape. Myself and 4 of my friends quit because of EoC and don't like EoC in its current state. Absurd MTX is merely an additional reason to never play with RuneScape. We refuse to play with OSRS and RS3 since we prefer the 2011 era of RuneScape where the graphics were adequate and Soul Split made job of Slayer tasks that are boring. Not modern day"change 3 times in 3 successive ticks to protect against this one boss attack" or the old school"bring half an inventory of prayer potions to complete this garbage mob task".
To each their own, and it's clear that there are people that enjoy the two games in their existing state, but my buddy collection has had many, many unsuccessful attempts at getting back into version of RuneScape.Switchscape is actually only a thing for optimizing boss times and useful most with the maximum end bosses in RS3. However, you have to recognize that the higher end managers are for high end players. They are meant to challenge individuals who locate bossing simple. They should require superior rotations and understanding of mechanisms. That said, many can be beaten with bringing a friend to add dps and possibly eating of meals. Tasks in RS3 tend to also be relatively simple with most being rewarding and afk. Obviously, you may not enjoy it and that is okay. I never enjoyed the death price of RS3 nor the aspect that was click-to-move. I am presently trying ESO that I enjoy more in terms of rs gold 2007 combat, but less in regards to non-combat abilities.
To make the official client of Old School Runescape
Thanks for the help but I'm not sure if it could/did occur, this would help anything. I'm convinced if Jagex management made it a priority to cheap RS gold run their very own RL fork they could (presumably they need to hire the right people, which takes cash ) and I am trying to push them to this direction. You could ban cheat customers and perhaps find folks not using the client that is authorized? If that is possible, I am not sure.
It's not possible. Sure, you may add additional integrity checks but finally they can be disabled. It is just an arms race at that point. Anti-cheat needs to be performed on the server, and the only reliable way is with behavioral analysis. Any"am I the true software" tests can be spoofed. This is the answer. But unfortunately analysis can be quite a hard thing to utilize to ascertain a bot or actual RuneScape player. Anything that I can think of that may be used to detect a bot can be countered by the bot.
Screen rotate, click delay, break handling, checking stats, even auto. All of these are things which are cared for by the bot script that can make it impossible to find a bot versus a real RuneScape player. You know those testing centers for the SAT? Have you constantly supervised, and where they accept your government ID on camera, in person, and on mic? Jagex should just let people play those.
But depending on how long it takes to spoof, it may be powerful for a moment. If botters are down for many days (or those who bot anyway are all flagged and then prohibited ), great. But if it takes a matter of hours to fake, then it is not an effective solution. Trouble is, a similar one will be cracked next time, after an effective check was cracked. Having the customer whilst loading connect to some Jagex server to acquire verification of software might work. I have seen a great deal for apps and things that are looking to prevent piracy. They get pirated at times, but if a new version is released, everyone on the old software is required to upgrade and also the scripters have to decode the new edition.
I keep seeing people say this, nevertheless I think you're misunderstanding the Jagex statement's purpose. The problem is that plugins and OP clients are being seeped into the broader RuneScape player base, which explains what Jagex wants to stop. Your debate is that individuals cheating will cheat, which isn't representative of the massive RuneScape playerbase and not influenced by whatever Jagex states. Of course it's surely a (large?) Problem, but it is better dealt with by bans likely or possibly other legal actions, since those RuneScape players are basically undesirable and old school runescape buy gold supply a net negative to the neighborhood.
This has some scale bot problems RuneScape
The LMS update buy RuneScape gold that was done during Mod Roq's spare time was really terrific. Imagine we had a group as big league working on PvP for even a day. Really wish they would do something for us and quit acting like they're listening (because they are not). There are countless discords of thoughts and suggestions we (The clan leaders, members, streamers, pkers etc) given over the decades in which they promise they will"listen this period". It happens each year. I would not be shocked if that is what they'll do this time. They will likely pass this upcoming clan system update and say it's for the PVP, but in fact, it is just going through to benefit the ironmen scene. It is really a joke.
This has some scale bot problems. If they don't discontinue this quite soon, another massive wave of robots will likely be created and we've got 2007 2.0 shortly. No more wildy. The quantity of gold going into RuneScape daily is absurd. When the first significant bot farms are installed, they will destroy the market completely. After months of quitting, I am still surprised just how much shit the higher ups at Jagex care what happens to their match. I do not blame the mods. They are/were always very enthusiastic about RuneScape, a few mods even take their free time off work to create updates for this particular community. They are not the ones to blame in any way. The choices are made by the dudes which lead this firm. It is not simply only PvP getting ignored at this stage (I feel sorry for all of the PKers out there dealing with this much bs), this update in it's present state is a game-killer.
I had this thought the other day. Presently the wilderness is a place filled with assorted cheeses, attracting mice to eat them. Cats hang out there because they understand if they can be caught by them the mice will be an easy meal. Imagine if pkers and pvmers were more like sharks and dolphins? 1 shark will beat a lone dolphin, however, the angels counter this by grouping up, only being beaten by groups of sharks. I'm just spitballing here, but imagine if being unskulled makes you being skulled, and attackable by a single individual at one time allows you to be dogpiled?
Add some sort of goal switch timer that prioritises special objectives so for example if 1 pker attacks 5 pvmers they can overpower him, however if another 3 pkers join in they could each single off among those pvmers to save the original pker out of being dogpiled. Switch it. Obviously the pkers are still at an advantage as they attracted pvp centric equipment and have complete inventories, which is a good thing as naturally pkers should nevertheless have some predatory benefit. This idea very likely requires a great deal of work and possibly various other changes to the wilderness but that I believe big changes such as this are required to make the wilderness an actual healthy place.
Jagex does not care it understandable. Exploits like this are driving the price of bonds to record highs, causing the immediate payment of membership to become a more favorable solution for casual players. The"fail" appears to be deliberate. Bonds and membership are the only way Jagex can market through OSRS. Without a incentive Runescape will likely disappear sooner than anticipated. Every bond that is bought comes from somebody who paid real life cash for it so it's not like it is coming from thin air. But cheap RS gold I agree complete.
