I think you are coming from a strange place if you appear to think that people expect WoW Classic to be like a new experience. People wanted WoW Classic BECAUSE they played and knew WoW Classic, they did not need a new fresh encounter. Also only re-balancing the numbers is a dumb idea that I bet you gave no thought in any way. It could be fine in PvE but boosting damage or decreasing mana costs for poorer classes could have a huge effect in PvP, largely for hybrid classes that aren't anywhere near as feeble in PvP since in PvE. Imagine a elemental shaman being able to pump out those CL/shock crits without going out of mana, feral druids doing the same (boosted) harm as the rogues but with the ability to heal (which would be boosted) and change into endure form (which now would have boosted armour to keep up with warriors in PvE). Basically it's a horrible idea to change the numbers simply, they'd need to change the courses completely if they had been to attempt to equilibrium vanilla. To me these games are timeless WoW Classics whom I keep returning to, and I hope WoW Classic will turn into one of them:-RRB-? As stated in last WoW Classicast, many no-changes individuals wouldnt mind when they balanced a few things a bit, the issue is that with so many folks, so many opinions, its much"safer" to just create one larger community around no changes so that it isnt like. . I duck over to some stash, strip to underpants and Pip-Boy, and set everything away I own except the allowed food, water, along with my barbed cane. Then I drink the Nukashine and creep around some rubble seeing the world cycle through blue and red for a little while. When I wake up it's into the sound of a"new area discovered" telling, which is not a fantastic sign. I've got one character I have been playing since another who's only and the beta. That so it is the first time that I've been this way east when I wake up on a raft floating at The Mire just north of Valley Galleria. Till I am at level 30 I should not be in this region. There is an empty jug with me about the raft and not much else and a bear. There were a skeleton and two garden gnomes, although last time I drank Nukashine I woke up alongside a toy bear as well. Whenever there are no NPCs around to party with I suppose you need to make your own fun. Is the radioactive of that water and I'm on a river. The mutant mosquitoes are level 10 so that I guess I will take them, but hiding in the center of the gang is really a legendary bloodbug who drops my health while I flail about with a few wire on a pole. Not for the last time that I run off, before I lose the jerks that are buzzing splashing through the swamp. Then I fall into a crouch, and only in time. I am a MLB Maplestory M Mesos The Show purest.I enjoy playing with real rosters while managing the game.I'm not into creating new ball parks that don't exist, altering team names and or colors, etc.. Not realistic !?I bought EVERY SINGLE MLB THE SHOW SINCE 2005 but I'm not buying it I am not shelling out $70 for what as far as I'm concerned amounts to a roster update! I am old school franchise style that is offline and I play and what have they done to enhance it? Not something! It is insulting that they charge $60 for these updates year in, year out. MVP 2005 is STILL, 14 decades after, the best MLB The Show game and that had arena creator. What a joke. I dont need a single change to course balance in any way especially not"only the numbers" because that would change everything. To me the rhetoric shows that your used to each of the modifications WOW has over the last few years and understandably to a level people are concerned about how it will play out. All the other RPG's I love don't permit 2 and 3 different spec choices. Priests heal and Warriors have a two hander or sword and board mages get fireballs and that just how it is. WoW Classic still supply you with more choices than other WoW Classic RPG games.I see the point you are making. But I think folks prefer what's going to happen in WoW Classic well then what is happening in modern wow. And what is happening in contemporary wow is that there is not any actual distinction and Effectiveness between the classes as it is now. Every class includes a heel. Every class has a cleansing. Just as in every course every spec has Antonio, has its own very own son, has its own this or that. While I see the point you're making about WoW Classic World of Warcraft, I believe people might prefer being stuck into specific roles and limitations then to look at their class in everybody else's course in realize that there is nothing particular about them.I don't find a problem with class balancing in WoW Classic concerning class representation. Mostly due to this"difficutly" of the raids in vanilla WoW - they'll be simple as hell. There simply will not be a need to pile courses to conquer encounter dps wise. It is not gonna happen. Why? Class and Raid balance is all I want from vanilla, as, let us be honest: Vanilla has been planet of mage/rogue/warrior craft. If you would like to be tank - warrior, then melee dps - warrior or rogue, array dps - Mage, well warlocks are workable but mages will always be prefered. Paladins can only be healers with fabric gear, priests are healers only too, Druids aren't wanted everywhere, their only role goes to being raid buffer, generally 1 per raid and recovery support. It's just heartbreaking to know that you can't play your favourite class how you want. Naxxramas isn't but grind competition where all raid members should either farm like spiders throughout the weekends for consumables and repair, or the guild would need to dedicate tons of gold for the identical function and despite the hard work, there's the problem with the loot that has to be spread between 40 people where healer cloth gear will automatically visit paladins, leather dps to rogues, tank equipment to warriors and etc.. Some specs are reliable for PVP but you still must be accepted in raids so as to farm equipment because boss items are good for PVP too, so people will not throw themselves into the hell pit just to experience another course. Given up on WoW Classic already. Ion's conclusions have nerfed raid content to be simpler than LFR along with the huge material streamers need WoW Classic shifted for their biases. Seriously f#%# it. I'll play Nostalrius 2 and observe Blizzard go bankrupt catering to people who roll a course like warrior, expire to par 10 murlocs and cry in their paladin not being all powerful with a victim complex.
