Top Wide Receivers for Both Teams Leave Game Due to Injury!
On Tuesday, the injury-plagued San Francisco 49ers welcomed guests dressed in Washington Commanders nfl jersey to their home stadium. After a hard-fought contest, the 49ers emerged with a 23–17 victory, extending their winning streak to start the season to six games.
The 49ers’ win was a nail-biter. They held a 20–3 lead heading into halftime, but the game took a turn when both teams’ star wide receivers—Mike Evans and Terry McLaurin—left the field due to injuries. In the second half, Jayden Daniels threw two touchdown passes, narrowing the gap to 23–17. Ultimately, however, Daniels was unable to pull off a game-winning miracle, much to the relief of the 49ers.
It's worth mentioning that a new record was set in this game. Brock Purdy, wearing a San Francisco 49ers jerseys, crossed the 1,500-pass attempt threshold, officially becoming the NFL's highest-rated quarterback in passing history. Let’s congratulate him on this achievement!
A String of Bad News for the 49ers!
The San Francisco 49ers have recently been hit by a wave of unfortunate news. In addition to suffering severe injuries, some players have also been suspended. The team faces a serious challenge in rotating its players and has had to make urgent adjustments to its lineup.
The 49ers coach confirmed that tight end Jake Tonges will need surgery for a torn medial collateral ligament and will be unable to wear a 49ers nfl jersey on the court this season. Meanwhile, wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling will be sidelined for ten weeks due to a severe ankle injury. Additionally, linebacker Dre Greenlaw has been suspended for one game following unsportsmanlike conduct during the match against the Seahawks, placing further strain on a defense already depleted by injuries.
The San Francisco 49ers made urgent adjustments to the team. Tight end Brayden Willis is expected to showcase his skills in a San Francisco 49ers jerseys after being promoted from the training team to the active roster to fill the void left by Nico Collins. Furthermore, promising defensive lineman Malik Jackson has joined the practice squad.
Emmitt Smith backs Derrick Henry to reach the top
For many NFL players, age 32 marks the beginning of a decline, but Derrick Henry—wearing the number 22 nfl jersey—is defying this trend with astonishing form. Currently dominating on the field, he has set his sights on a monumental goal: challenging the NFL's all-time rushing yardage record.
This super running back, wearing Baltimore Ravens jerseys, currently boasts an impressive 13,163 yards, but he's still 5,193 yards short of Emmitt Smith's astonishing record of 18,355 yards. Given Henry's current condition, even the recorder himself has high hopes for this younger man. Emmitt Smith has longed to witness a successor break this long-standing record.
Achieving this goal will not be easy; it requires Henry to maintain an average of 61.8 rushing yards per game over his next 84 contests. Of course, before he can scale the summit that is Emmitt Smith's record, Henry must first surpass four other major milestones. He is a mere 97 yards away from Eric Dickerson, 500 yards from Jerome Bettis, 522 yards from LaDainian Tomlinson, and 544 yards from Curtis Martin.
Legendary kicker breaks "highest" shot record
Today, future Hall of Famer Adam Vinatieri—donning a New England Patriots jerseys—added a unique honor to his resume. He successfully completed a free kick at an altitude of 3,454 meters in the Jungfrau region of the Swiss Alps.
Vinatieri successfully completed this challenge amidst snow-covered terrain and strong winds, thereby setting a Guinness World Record for the "highest-altitude field goal." The changes in breathing and rhythm caused by the high altitude made this kick a completely unique experience—distinct from anything in his professional career—leaving a lasting impression on him.
It's worth mentioning that this 53-year-old former NFL kicker, in addition to playing for the Patriots, also wore an Indianapolis Colts jerseys. Over the course of his career, he won four Super Bowl titles and amassed over 2,600 points, widely cementing his status as one of the greatest kickers in NFL history.
Taylor Swift witnessed Kelce’s first touchdown of 2026
Travis Kelce continued to make history during this week's game. In the matchup against the Colts, the tight end—wearing nfl jersey number 87—surpassed the 6,288-yard mark held by former Colts and Rams legendary running back Marshall Faulk, becoming the player with the most receiving yards after the catch in NFL history.
Taylor Swift celebrated Kelce's first touchdown of 2026 from a luxury suite, excitedly showing off her wedding ring and declaring, "That's my husband." This marked the second time the famous American singer has attended a game since getting married. Just last week, Kelce—sporting his Kansas City Chiefs jerseys—surpassed Jason Witten to become the tight end with the second-most receiving yards in NFL history.
Now in his 14th season in the league, Kelce is currently 2,054 yards shy of the record held by former Chiefs great Tony Gonzalez.
Kelce is only 2054 yards away from first place!
On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Denver Broncos 31-10 on the road. Wearing nfl jersey No. 87, Travis Kelce recorded three receptions for 71 yards, bringing his career total to 13,073 yards. This achievement saw him surpass Cowboys legend Jason Witten to move into second place all-time among tight ends.
Currently, only fellow Chiefs legend Tony Gonzalez—with 15,127 career yards—stands ahead of him; the gap between the two is 2,054 yards. Given that Kelce hinted upon his return this year that this season might be his "last dance" in a Kansas City Chiefs jerseys, surpassing Gonzalez's record will be a tall order.
But you should always have dreams. Even if he ultimately falls short of the all-time record, Kelce’s individual performance and accolades make him a prime contender for the title of greatest tight end in history.
Rising from 62nd place to third!
Recently, Bijan Robinson, wearing nfl jersey number 7, ranked 3rd on the 2026 NFL Top 100 Players list, a jump of 59 places from 62nd in 2025. This significant rise in ranking demonstrates that Robinson has matured from a highly anticipated young running back into a player widely recognized as one of the league's top stars.
During the 2025 season, Robinson led the league with 2,298 total yards from scrimmage, recording eleven games with over 100 yards and seven games with over 150 yards. This yardage is outstanding; it ranks 12th on the NFL all-time list. Against the Buffalo Bills, he delivered a terrifying 238 yards in a single game.
Fans wearing Atlanta Falcons jerseys were thrilled. These statistics highlight Robinson's distinct strengths: he embodies the versatility of a running back, combining multiple roles into one player. Heading into the new season, Robinson is not only the centerpiece of the Falcons' offense but also a top contender for the Offensive Player of the Year award.
After a stellar performance in the preseason, he was laid off
The Cowboys recently made a somewhat surprising roster adjustment. They reportedly waived preseason quarterback Joe Milton to free up a roster spot for former Chiefs running back Emari DeMercado.
This decision was somewhat unexpected. During the preseason, Milton received significant playing time and earned praise for his signature strong arms and consistent passing. In three preseason games, the quarterback, wearing the number 19 nfl jersey, threw for a total of 271 yards and 2 touchdowns, as well as a rushing touchdown.
Many believed Milton had the potential to become Dakota Prescott's primary backup. Currently, Sam Howell appears to be in the lead. However, Milton possesses excellent physical talent and development potential. Although he may not be wearing a Dallas Cowboys jerseys for now, he is likely to attract attention from other teams soon and will not remain a free agent for long.
The battle for the starting quarterback position has come to an end
The race for the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback position has finally come to a temporary close. The team officially announced that Deshaun Watson, wearing nfl jersey number 4, has beaten young quarterback Sheldon Sanders to start at quarterback in the upcoming season opener.
This starting spot is incredibly significant for the 30-year-old Watson. Since 2022, Watson has only played 19 games for the team. This is truly remarkable. Despite this, the team still tried one last time to make Watson successful wearing the Cleveland Browns jerseys—after all, the Browns gave up multiple first-round picks and their famous 5-year, $230 million fully guaranteed contract to acquire him.
However, just days ago, Watson was heavily booed by some fans during a preseason game against the Bills. He publicly criticized the on-site reaction after the match, and his remarks sparked controversy. Now, with the starting position settled, Watson has publicly admitted that his remarks were somewhat emotional and apologized to the fans.
Nick Chubb announces retirement, if not for serious injury…
One of the NFL’s greatest running backs of the past decade has officially announced his retirement. Today, Nick Chubb made the important decision, bringing his eight-season professional career to a close.
“Where has the time gone?” Chubb’s sigh resonated with many. The Cleveland Browns jerseys marked the beginning of Chubb’s professional NFL career. In the 2018 season, he contributed 1,145 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns, becoming a standout rookie. For the next four seasons, Chubb rushed for over 1,000 yards each season, becoming one of the most consistent and efficient running backs.
However, like many players, injury became his biggest enemy. In his retirement statement, Chubb devoted considerable time to reflecting on how he fought against this “enemy.” After a tenacious return to the field, the Houston Texans jerseys became his swan song. Even in retirement, for many fans, Chubb remains a respected and exemplary running back.
