The first major reveal on April's calendar was WoW Dragonflight, the rumoured coming World of Warcraft expansion that first leaked in advance but was confirmed long after D2R ladder items. The Dragon Isles lurking on the edge, Unknown Worlds also confirmed that we'll dive back into the water again with Subnautica 3. Release date to be confirmed.

Blizzard's Diablo 2 Resurrected saw the first set of class balancing in over 12 years whilst also selling over five million copies. Also, one of the initial Overwatch 2 beta featuring new hero Sojourn was released on April 26 that finally gave fans in overwatch the FPS gaming experience something exciting to sink deep into.

The same pattern was followed in March. May was a comparatively quiet month. It was the time for hype to build up for Diablo Immortal. It also died for the rumoured Marvel MMORPG, which was soon and quietly removed. Also, the actor for Elden Ring Character NPC Blaidd later addressed fans who might have been a bit excited by the character. Describing himself as "warm at ease, enthralled, comforted and very loved" it seems like the feeling is reciprocal.

Blizzard isn't forgetting about its most popular and successful mobile game for financial purposes, Diablo Immortal, as it has received the most extensive patch since it's launch. Forgotten Nightmares Forgotten Nightmares updates a new story expansion Diablo 2 Resurrected buy items, improvements to features that are already in place, and additional mechanics/items that will give you more options to end-game grinding.
