Diablo 4 currently lacks a definitive release date, however it's likely to arrive at some point during the first half of 2023. It's looking like Diablo IV Gold fans who are eager to know when they'll be able to play the game ought that they tune in to The Game Awards in December.

Diablo 4's world is designed to allow players to move on and resume the story anytime, however it can "allow flexibility for non-linearity", the story will include "a beginning, middle, and an end".

Interview with IGN, Diablo 4 director Joe Shely and general manager Rod Fergusson opened up on what Diablo 4 has to offer those who love the series, as well giving a glimpse into how the game's narrative mechanics will differ from the Diablo games that came before it.

"One of the issues with making 'open' a big neon and flashing that sign is that people will be able to get that impression of Breath of the Wild 'oh, it's entirely natural and I can go anywhere and do anything'" Fergusson said, as recorded by NME.

"That's not our story at all. Our story permits non-linearity, but there is an idea of a story. We wanted to have beginning, middle and an end.

"You can actually not pursue the story for a while This is the good thing with the open-world cheap Diablo 4 Gold," Fergusson added. "There's plenty of side quests, a lot of things to do that aren't necessarily on the golden path."
