Since it's not that many, they will not be listed by any one. Every feature people discuss being removed was in one Madden at a Mut 20 coins single point for a year and never came back. Even looking at each single Madden ever created combined there wouldn't be 99 percent more features than Madden 20. Some large ones however, in my view, are now being able to relocate or recreate or even completely build a brand new team with a custom stadium, there was an wonderful drill style in 08 (and others I think) that was fantastic for practice and getting all of the gold medals was very cool, and the greatest one I miss the most is that the Legend players and being able to do a draft with them (this was in Madden 10 for sure, not sure about 08.)

That stupid"hit stick" attribute is bad enough in its execution, but watching a man just push over a ball carrier or, worse, hit him on the soccer field, is simply stupid. The pushing isn't sufficient to stop a ball carrier (which is the reason you don't see people trying it all the time at the NFL), and punching a guy in the head would get you ejected from Madden nfl. But in Madden it's treated like a tackle. There is only so many times you can see plays that aren't penalized but are lauded before you get tired of these animations.

Similarly, Madden 20's reliance on animations - no matter the"quality" of them (that is questionable) - hurts Madden nfl a good deal. Like when Madden nfl determines your QB is going to be sacked, you absolutely have no opportunity to try for a pass, even though it will be a rickety mess. The QB eats the sofa and always only pulls inside. To say nothing about the way defenders play the ball (i.e. linebackers swatting balls from the atmosphere that are passing by them without even looking in the path of the ball and therefore having no way to know that the ball will be in that exact spot at that specific moment). But even the"fine" animations are a part of a very bad game.

Madden 20 animations are awful though. The running animation was bad. It looks like you're gliding. Games such as assassin's Creed are the standard of animations. Each step looks powerful and meaningful. Each hop has energy and momentum behind it. Madden since the beginning of time has looked like their. EA should easily be able to take the leap that Assassin's Creed did between AC and AC3 Unity. The difference in cartoons just happened in 1 year and is literally day and night. I am sure the devs are gifted, but the management does not care about making good games, so Madden nfl are not good.
