It was at least the second edition of the skills tree developed specifically for Diablo 2 Resurrected; Blizzard showed an earlier version of the skill tree back in 2019 and it was revealed at BlizzCon.Despite the design change, a more easily readable skill tree is exactly what the game of Diablo 2 Resurrected needs. There's a wide range of skills and D2R Items abilities that players can develop throughout the first 50 levels. All of which are available to try out, or by learning the ability itself and then respeccing, or by acquiring an item of equipment that has a skill attached to it.

Diablo 2 Resurrected does character creation and customization better than any Diablo game and lets players create their character with stunning details.Paragon level is lower than that of the server, players can earn higher levels of experience. It appears that the system isn't doing enough to aid players getting fully up-to-date which is why Blizzard is planning to increase amounts of time earned by players significantly behind their server's Paragon level.

In addition, Blizzard is looking to boost the speed that players can earn Legendary sets and other items in order that those who have lapsed can more rapidly increase their Combat Ratings and participate in content of higher levels.

"In Immortal's current version there's a scenario in which players are able to gain in experience, but their Combat Rating remains inadequate to engage in various activities." Blizzard notes.

While catch-up system improvements aren't coming immediately, some other changes are. Players will soon be able modify the look of their characters. They'll also be as a team to face many Helliquary raid bosses with Diablo 2 Resurrected's next significant update which is slated to arrive on the 14th of December. That update will also include enhancements to the game's recently introduced Set item crafting system and new story content.

Diablo 2 Resurrected is developed in collaboration with China's NetEase games which has a long-standing partnership with Blizzard to release various games such as World of Warcraft and Overwatch in China. Blizzard recently announced that it would be ending its collaboration with NetEase this year, which could mean multiple Blizzard games going buy D2R Ladder Items offline for the entire region. It will continue to support Diablo 2 Resurrected in China, however, will remain, since the game is covered by a an agreement that is separate from NetEase.
