Is it possible for you to recall a time when you were prescribed a prescription medication to treat a medical condition? If you want to see results from your prescription, it is critical that you take it correctly and on time. Consider using a tool or piece of automated equipment to keep track of your medication and remind you to take it when the time is right. What if there was a device that could tell you whether or not you were taking medicine? In this scientific experiment, the goal is to build a smart Smart Medicine Cabinet from scratch! The first paragraph is an introduction. When it comes to creating new tools, it can be a difficult task, but when you break it down into smaller pieces, it becomes more feasible. The medication cabinet, for example, should be equipped with some type of sensor that detects when the medicine bottle is removed from the cabinet. Ideally, a microcontroller should be used to monitor the pickups, with information and alarms generated by a computer that receives input from the microcontroller. The following project is suitable for those who prefer a straightforward or more complex task. Perhaps all you need to demonstrate your product is an electronic sensor that detects when a medicine bottle has been placed on the Smart Medicine Cabinet. Alternatives include attaching a microcontroller to the sensor and using it to communicate with a computer, such as an Arduino. You could develop a computer program to assist the user in keeping track of their medication regimen. When it's time to take a medication, a user interface would remind them and allow them to input their medication schedule. LEDs (light-emitting diodes) can also be used to provide visual cues to the user if that is what they are intended for.The first stage of this science project is the development of an electrical sensor that detects when a medicine bottle is picked up or placed on a Medicine Cabinet shelf in the laboratory. A voltage divider should be used as the basis for this sensor's operation. A voltage divider circuit is required in order to provide a voltage that is different from the voltage provided by the battery or power source currently being used. Figure 1 depicts the sensor circuit in two different operating modes. Conductive metal pads, such as the red squares shown here, can be found in a variety of shapes and sizes. Figure 1. a shows the sensor without a bottle attached to it.
