Well your right, I don't have 85 slayer. However, it doesn't suggest that RS Gold I don't know something about it. There's been reports of people not getting a whip drop within 4-6 hours of constantly slaying. However, the reality is that whips are very rare to drop. Any help site that you visit will indicate the whip as one of them.

The probability of obtaining whips that fall within a 75-125-125-kill range is possible, not tipacal, but it is possible. There's a higher chance of getting it in the 1-540 kill range. But, you might not receive one. Also, if you ask anyone why they train slayers it's almost always about the large drops. For example, whips from abby demons, sols from ice strykewyrms, etc.

Even if they kill for the drops, most of their profit will not come from them in particular on ice wyrms as they can drop amazing amounts which is why the SOL is merely a small extra. The 1/540 figure is from the normal drops (mite be 520 I'm not sure) however, it's a result of players who report how many kills they have to take to obtain a whip. sure, you can get the range you want, but that isnt the drop rate.

Helm of Neitiznot - It's a good balanced helm, go for Verac's/Torag's helm if you want more defensive stats or Fighter hat for offensive stats (about the same stats as the Rune full helm , but bonus points in attacks like Stab, Slash and Crush attack styles)

Guthans Plate - Good The Fighter torso offers an attractive Strength bonus. it's a good choice even if you're not able to OSRS Accounts purchase Bandos; also I'm not 100% sure about this, but I'm assuming that the Torag (and Dharok's) provides slightly better defense stats. It's only around 650k so it's worth the investment.
