For many Diablo 2 players, creating a seasonal ladder character meant gaining access to powerful, exclusive items that could only be acquired through ladder play. According to a new forum post from Blizzard, this will not be the case in Buy Diablo 2 Resurrected Items: Resurrection.The previously ladder-exclusive items, runewords, and recipes will be included in the upcoming {anchor} remaster for the first time, making them available in non-ladder multiplayer and single-player as well. Ladders are available for both normal and hardcore (permadeath) characters. At the conclusion of each season, characters are reclassified as non-ladder individuals.According to Blizzard, "we understand that these items complement well-known builds and playstyles that are beloved by the gaming community."We have also heard from the community for a long time that they would like to see these items included in the single-player mode. Single player will now also include access to the Pandemonium Event and Uber Diablo content, in addition to the previously mentioned features. According to Blizzard, in order to ensure server stability at launch, the game's first ladder season will be available shortly after the game's release, rather than on the first day of the game's availability.With the completion of the early access beta, {anchor}: Resurrected will transition to an open beta, which will begin on August 20th and run until September. Following early access beta feedback, a minor change has been implemented in the open beta, requiring players to press two buttons to purchase skills instead of one button press. As previously stated, this was done in order to help prevent players from accidentally assigning skill points, as reassigning skill points is not possible until much later in the game and with much greater difficulty outside of the one free re-spec players earn in the game's first Act.D2: Resurrected will be available for purchase on September 23rd for consoles and computers.
