Dark Matter NBA 2K21 has left many in the community perplexed as to what 2K Games is implying. A cryptic post in the most recent NBA 2K21 MyTeam Courtside Report has sparked debate and excitement among gamers. While there was little information provided about Dark Matter, the fact that it was included in the MyTeam Report gives it a game mode at the very least. While there was little actual wording from 2K Games, there has been a lot of speculation and theories as to what 'Dark Matter' could be. Dark Matter Cards Appear as the Top TierThe first NBA 2K21 Spotlight Sim with 16 Pink Diamond and 3 Galaxy Opal reward players, the first Dark Matter players appearing in Pantheon: All-Star packs, a new Champion crowned in our third MyTEAM Unlimited $250,000 Tournament, and now, the rewards for the Golden Age and Modern Age collections have been revealed! Certainly a memorable week; now, let's get into the specifics. Dark Matter, the top tier of NBA 2K21's MyTEAM, has arrived! The one and only Michael Jordan and NBA 2K21 Cover Athlete Zion Williamson are the first-ever Dark Matter player cards in MyTEAM, appearing in the new Pantheon: All-Star packs! The Dark Matter cards should more expensive than other types if you are going to buy them with NBA 2K21 MT PS4, PS5, Switch, etc. The Pantheon: All-Star and Hero versions of these Dark Matter players usher in the most powerful tier of power in MyTEAM. On the MyTEAM courts, MJ and Zion are unstoppable. What are the rewards for completing the Modern Age and Golden Age collections if Dark Matter Zion and MJ are included? To begin, for Season 5: Age of Heroes, special drawn versions of NBA players have been added to MyTEAM to collect each week and earn through Agenda Groups. These 30 players form an interconnected mural that only YOU can complete, divided into the Golden Age for our Heroes of the Past and the Modern Age for our Current Heroes of the Hardwood. Knowing that each of these collections would include a debuting Dark Matter player compelled us to think carefully about who or what the collection rewards should be. If the theme of these collections is to assemble some of the NBA's greatest Heroes, then the reward should be a leader. And in MyTEAM, there is only one card that can improve an entire lineup, and only two people we thought could be the first non-player Dark Matter cards. Dark Matter Gregg Popovich will be given to you once you have completed the Modern Age collection! Coach Pop can turn your player cards into defensive specialists with +10 attribute boosts to key defensive ratings if you have a Defensive System in place. Collect the 15 historic Hero players for Dark Matter Phil Jackson for the Golden Age collection! Coach Phil's Triangle System, making his coaching debut in MyTEAM, will take your team's offense to the next level with +10 boosts to key offensive ratings. Both coaches will have an immediate impact on players who are added to any lineups they lead; these attribute boosts raise players' abilities to previously unimagined levels. For all who complete these collections in the Age of Heroes, these are truly epic Dark Matter level rewards. The final Golden Age and Modern Age Hero cards will be added to their Agenda Groups in two weeks, on March 19th.
