Even though the rating system isn't always perfect (and sometimes 2K MT makes no sense), the evaluations are adjusted to try to properly resemble the players' real-life counterparts and what sort of seasons they are having. The system has treated some players much superior than others.

Immanuel Quickley could have been the most improved player of the year (in relation to NBA 2K overall gains ) a bit earlier in the season, but he depended in a score of 79 (up from 71).
