The optimum specific surface area of activated carbon prepared by chemical activation method is 1200.04 m2g, and the yield is 34%.
Although the specific surface area and yield of the chemical activation method are the largest, it can be seen that the activated carbon prepared by the physical activation method has higher economic benefit and environmental protection value considering the economic benefit and environmental protection value of the preparation process comprehensively.
Finally, based on the preparation of activated carbon from biomass, the adsorption equilibrium and kinetics of the prepared activated carbon for methylene blue and the adsorption characteristics of mercury in flue gas were studied.

At present, domestic activated carbon preparation technology is relatively backward, equipment automation degree is low, resulting in waste of resources, environmental pollution and other phenomena.
In view of the above problems, through in-depth analysis of the carbonization process of activated carbon, the design of FX2N PLC as the core controller, Mitsubishi touch screen as the man-machine interface automatic control system, to achieve the automatic control of the carbonization section, improve the degree of automation of equipment.
The quality of activated carbon is directly affected by the control performance of furnace temperature and pressure of carbonization furnace.
