Rex Dickson is his title. He worked on Madden 13-19

Rex Dickson is his title. He worked on Madden 13-19. He had been constantly on Mut 21 coins twitter participating with lovers. When he ceased he did a bunch of interviews telling people why madden sucks. My purpose revolved around the fact that the madden team is absolutely horrible at PR, and creating their neighborhood feel valued and heard. Seems like the two times he is just saying #censored# so as to get views. A lot of people will not give this much merit until they see busy changes, which can be reasonable, but when's the last time anyone from the Dev team confessed that the game style needed fixing similar to this? Seems assuring to me that they're addressing this. M22 might see an overhaul when this is untrue.
Rex Dixon left the business pretty much for attempting to push more franchise and gameplay fixes. Suits want to push the game in another direction. Rex killed the last great Madden Franchise (Madden 12) with the #censored# version we've (Madden 13 to present). Was it specifically him ? Granted I've only listened to his side of the story following years of blaming it specifically on him. If the buck does not stop with the creative director, where does this stop at? Executives, directors, VPs, CEOs, high valued share holders, etc.. . Again this is coming from his perspective, but in this breakdown of a meeting w/ Rex, he cites he left EA, and the way he pushed to postpone the game for a year to to build the game from the ground up to move away from legacy code. The former director Ian Cummings left for similar reasons, at the end of the day EA is well-known for killing franchises, and spewing into the lowest denominator in relation to customer relations.
Could you say that he was still responsible, sure. However, I also think there were individuals higher up that produced madden the game it's today. Rex was still the one to intestine M12's Franchise and replaced it with the dead version we have today. He was there for I believe 6 decades. He became a"martyr" because of him being outspoken against EA at the end. Obviously he isn't likely to accept responsibility for his own contribution, or lack thereof, to madden achievement. 2K still has a yearly dev cycle, has executives/VPs, etc. . appease. Yet, it generates a much superior finished product.
Pretty sure this reaction was to quiet negativity quite a bit, at least before release, so that they can continue to keep their own M21 ad effort going without much interference. And I think they achieved their goal. When game launch will probably be close, just mark my words, they gonna appear and say this:" Sorry, team worked hard, but we couldn't make any huge changes so deep into development phase. And of course M22 franchise will nonetheless be cheap Madden 21 coins exact same as M13. It'll be exact same thing they did together with M20. Since launch, when game was completely unplayable for quite large group of PC players who had Core i5 chips (which has largest userbase). They kept telling commumity from their official channels that staff is"working on the fix", up until NFL season was over, to keep up sales and then just came out and said that fix was not coming. They did not even provide any refunds to people that got screwed over like that.
