Obviously the staff and I are saddened that some gamers are upset about free spins and OSRS gold some also do not like the ability to also purchase extra spins, however, the reality is 90% of our members are enjoying the Squeal of Fortune on a daily basis and over 70% of our free players utilise the Squeal of Fortune daily also - which makes it some of the most frequently appreciated content release to date. Nearly all our players also continue to take advantage of the many free ways to make extra twists, so it is certainly here to stay.

The stated concerns from gamers seeing RWT'ing, gaming or using the Squeal of Fortune to get their way to victory is just not true rather than possible given the design of this machine. Whilst we've seen most players make the most of their newest rewards and many choosing to buy extra twists, we have not witnessed any abuse of the system despite monitoring it extremely closely.

Looking ahead, RuneScape continues to grow more than ever, both in terms of innovative persuasive content as well as the size of the community. With the initiation of the Runespan last Monday, a major graphical performance upgrade yesterday (that has already seen a significant portion of the community benefit from over a 100% improvement in sport frame rate), it should be evident that people gearing up for our most exciting and biggest material year ever... such as a complete upgrade to the battle system after this summer! You will obviously all hear a lot more about this in the very close to future so watch that space.
