Electronic Arts along with the National Football League have created a new format for the EA SPORTS Madden NFL 21 Championship Series. Along with revamped tournament offerings and weekly sports entertainment programming, the two will be adding a mix of celebrities, athletes, and elite Madden NFL players to a Tuesday night streamed lineup.
The Madden Championship Series sees a newly formatted event for players, upping the yearly prize pool to $1.4M USD–the largest prize pool ever for Madden NFL. Starting with the Madden NFL 21 Club Championship taking place from Nov. 10 – Feb. 5, players have eight weeks to compete in order to represent one of the 32 NFL teams.
