Pro am just doesn't work as a NBA 2K MT manner. You wait a literal half hour to get a NBA 2K21 game and then play a group that you blow off by 40 anyways. The waiting yes, because 2k's busted matchmaking program, but yeah you get these blowouts but at least its rated, and a set 5 versus another pair 5, not a set 5 operating zone along with an offensive set against 5 randoms where normally just 1 or two is even any good. You sometimes run into a similar level of self respecting playing rec as you perform in comp however you don't need to wait for 30+ minutes to perform. Those put 5's run into other set 5's constantly in pubs.
The frequency which you play a comprehensive scrub team in comp is very high -- it is just like playing a group of randoms at rec in which you win by 40 but you had to wait a half hour to play with them and then you need to wait another half hour to actually play with the specific same group. My buddies and I used to wait out those games because we actually wanted to play decent comp and we did that for like two years but it's just not worthwhile. I'm not arguing the wait period being ridiculous, it certainly is and that I understand the frustrations of not wanting to restart your staff every 20-30 games so that you can get fast matchups.
But at exactly the same time you're more inclined to play a better team in proam than you're in Rec. The 5 individual wannabe comp teams in rec are honestly ass 99 percent of their time. We see it all the time playing against the 5 man elite groups, its hilarious. It is only a problem because those 5 individual Elite teams, no matter how bad they are, are going to beat any group of randoms. 2k is largely to blame for all these teams going to rec because of the horrible matchmaking in proam of course. However, if we are being honest that the dudes like in OP's screenshot are likely all average players that conquer randoms in many dickish manners possible (Zone Defense, Offensive Set) and will be the very same kinds of men that will start flopping up when up.
That kind of stuff is pathetic tbh. I'm a fairly good player and my team is really great in every mode such as Proam, Park, Stage, but I am not for destroying rec for everyone and thinking I'm good. All of the best teams we have played are in Proam, no doubt. If im playing with rec with 2-3 of my friends it's no contest, and we've never seen a group of these type of dudes come close in skill to higher tier proam teams. The guys in this screenshot are most likely pretty crap and are never likely to have to Buy 2K MT even pro-bronze. A random team of like two ace 1 players and amateur-whatever players can frequently beat these kinds of teams as long as the'm players do not completely sell NBA 2K21 (which realistically does occur all of the time).
