Whenever some RuneScape players discuss stories in their negative interactions with Venezuelans, other RuneScape players, such as Pip Johnson, aren't as critical about them. In fact, Johnson sympathises with the situation which Venezuelan RuneScape players have found themselves, and explains his experience with one Venezuelan RuneScape player as"the first genuine experience" he has had with the other RuneScape player online in over 15 decades, after he had been talented items and provided guidance about the best ways to accelerate. "There's also a great deal of racism in the online gambling community. As they're so prevalent, venezuelans are an easy target. Their inhabitants in RuneScape is now somewhat of a meme in the community and this brings even more attention to them especially."

The inventor of the contentious Reddit post detailing how to kill Venezuelan RuneScape players in RuneScape, who wishes to be understood just as Sam, informs Polygon that his article was misinterpreted by viewers, and was just supposed to be a"dark joke" comparing Venezuelan RuneScape players to robots. He says he had been amazed by the thread escalated into remarks.
