Just straight out, the way they seem, the story, their heritage, their interest in changing their own bodies but still keeping up the core of who they are, I think they're super interesting. One thing in terms of the way they look that is only different, when you wear armor like a Mechagnome, there are particular areas of the armor that aren't likely to display, because you've still go the mechanical components that it is likely to work about, which changes how the character looks compared to some other personality out there. That's interesting. For those who like the quirky sense of pleasure that the Mechagnomes bring to the table, it is a great option.

They stand on their own very well and have their own feel and look, but they are also tied into some of the core storylines which have been in WoW for quite a while. Their background ties into the curse of flesh, which is something that's pertinent to the Old Testament narrative, certainly. But it's something that changed lots of the civilizations on Azeroth and shifted its history in several tangible ways.

To see that storyline brought into this very local father and son struggle against each other -- this idea of, what does oneself mean? That's a cool fundamental story to tell, also in order to do it via this new culture that's been introduced in has been a good deal of fun.
