A 69-year-old Final Fantasy XIV walker just paid a surprise visit to the series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi during a livestream. This healthy level of interaction showcases the best parts of the Final Fantasy 14 community and proves that raids are fun for players of all ages. Players can prepare enough Final Fantasy XIV Gil in the game.

Pokochii_bigmum is a 69-year-old Japanese gamer who started his streaming career two years ago when he started playing Final Fantasy 14. Most of their nearly 500 streams chronicle their adventures in Eorzea and beyond, though they occasionally venture into other games.

Their journey goes through all of Final Fantasy 14's expansion packs, in which they find themselves tackling Pandaemonium Anabaseios (The Barbarians), the hardest dungeon in Endwalker aside from the Ultimate Challenge. In the final battle of the raid layer, the Pokochii and their raid group hit a wall during one of the more difficult stages. During a break during a recent live stream, Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi entered their chat room. The audio on the stream is in Japanese, but Sakaguchi appears around 2:31:00 to introduce himself and encourage Pokochii to keep working hard.

Sakaguchi himself is an avid Final Fantasy XIV player. The 60-year-old father of Final Fantasy started playing the critically acclaimed MMORPG before Endwalker even launched, advancing the storyline at breakneck speed to catch up with the expansion pack. He also took on some of the most difficult raids in the game, and his team was practically stuck in the same phase as Pokochii in Anabaseios. In a personal Twitter post after the live broadcast, Sakaguchi said the helpful visit motivated him to give his best the next time he tries to fight.

Needless to say, Sakaguchi's unexpected visit has touched Final Fantasy XIV fans around the world. With more than 240,000 subscribers, Pokochii has a large following, and a large number of fans who watch his live broadcast are also happy about Sakaguchi's presence. The video has more than 32,000 views and counting, meaning it's on track to break the record for most-watched VOD for a Final Fatnasy 14 stream to date.

Pokochii, Sakaguchi, and other Final Fantasy 14 fans are anxiously awaiting the upcoming Fan Festival. The exciting event will take place July 28-29 at 10AM PST in Las Vegas. Considering that "Final Fantasy 14" is about to release the next expansion piece, and let players experience the 6.5 version early, players who did not attend the conference will not want to miss the live broadcast.
