Hi all. My wife and I just retired and finally bought a used Airstream, a 25-footer that needs some love. We plan to spend a good part of the year on the road, but honestly we have no idea what daily life in one actually looks like. YouTube is full of polished influencers with drone shots and sponsor codes, and that's not what we're after. I'd love to find personal blogs written by real couples who lived in an Airstream and wrote about it honestly. Ideas for small upgrades along the way would be a bonus. Any recommendations?

Same boat a few years ago, and the most useful thing I found was the Aluminum Loaf travel blog written by a couple calling themselves The Coastie & The Cartographer. No drone shots, no sponsor codes, just real life in a 25-foot Airstream like yours. One of them served in the Coast Guard and was away for months at a time, the other worked on client map projects from the trailer, so you get the unglamorous side too. There are posts about recovering the bench seat, swapping out the old curtains, sewing projects done at the dinette. Fair warning, it hasn't been updated since around 2014, so treat it as an archive rather than a live feed. Start with the Airstream Upgrades category, then wander. Is your trailer still original inside?
